President of the Vancouver Skateboard Coalition, Michelle Pezel, has created a girls’ skate and motorbike ‘zine called Idlewood. The zine is a first for Michelle and her tenacious female companions which subverts expectations by mixing a twee aesthetic, like gingham, with macho photos of oily hands and engine smoke. - Shelly Lee Jones

some of my favourite Zine covers, especially like the woodcut technique used uptop. Shows perhaps, that Zines don’t always have to be rough and ready (although that’s still grand).
